About Me
I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience. I currently serve as an Assistant Professor at Oregon Health & Science University. My clinical background shapes how I approach mental health, with an understanding of how physical and emotional health are deeply interconnected.
I completed my psychiatric training at Johns Hopkins University to provide more than brief medication visits, offering comprehensive psychiatric care that includes therapy. My work considers how medical conditions, medications, hormones, sleep, stress, and life demands influence mental well-being over time.
I provide affirming, trauma-informed care across diverse identities. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in real-world clinical experience.
Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking in the Pacific Northwest, staying curious about metabolic health and longevity, strength training, or finding small ways to bring more balance into daily life.
